Session 1 - Class Introduction, Ed Tech Visions
This session introduces the course's instructor, students and goals, as well as the Educational Technology Leaders online learning environment. We will begin examing rationales and goals to consider in a technology vision.
Session 2 - Technology Outcomes
In this session we explore what the research says about how educational technology supports learning, and therefore what is reasonable to include about that in a vision for educational technology.
Session 3 - Technology Outcomes (con't.)
This session will focus on the elements of a vision that pertain to uses of educational technology that extend beyond the classroom; specifically, those that support digital equity and home-to-school connections.
Session 4 - Evaluating Technology Integration
This session will provide an overview of program evaluation, with special consideration of evaluating educational technology integration and implmentation.
Session 5 - Measuring Technology Integration
This session will examine instruments for and approaches to caputuring the impact of educational technology on teaching and learning. A variety of qualitative and quantitative approaches will be considered.
